CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Dr. Kai-Ulrich Deissner
Dr. Kai-Ulrich Deissner has been the Chairman of the Board and Labor Director of CECONOMY AG since May 2025. Since 2023, he has also been the Managing Director of MediaMarktSaturn Retail Group GmbH and served as CFO of CECONOMY AG from 2023 to 2025. Previously, he held various management positions in the Deutsche Telekom Group, including Segment CFO for Technology & Innovation (2016–2023), Senior Vice President for International Technology & Services Delivery (2018–2019), as well as CFO of Hrvatski Telekom d.d. (2014–2016); his career also included roles in customer processes, finance, and sales management. His earlier professional experience includes working at T-Mobile International, mm1 Consulting, Pixelpark, and as an editor at Financial Times Deutschland and FOCUS. Dr. Deissner earned her PhD in English Literature from the University of Cambridge, completed the German School of Journalism in Munich, studied languages and history at the Free University of Berlin (intermediate examination), and completed a management program at SMP St. Gallen, Switzerland. There are no memberships in legally mandated supervisory boards or comparable control bodies.

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Remko Rijnders
Remko Rijnders has been the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of CECONOMY AG and Managing Director of MediaMarktSaturn Retail Group GmbH since May 2025. Previously, he was the Chief Operating Officer (02/2023–04/2025) of the MediaMarktSaturn retail group and concurrently Managing Director of MediaMarkt BeNeLux (10/2020–04/2025). Before that, he held various leadership positions at MediaMarktSaturn, including Vice President International Procurement (02–09/2020), Chief Commercial Officer MediaMarktSaturn Germany (08/2018–09/2020), as well as operational leadership roles in Turkey (2013–2018) and management and sales tasks in China. He began his career as a market manager at MediaMarkt in the Netherlands and had previously held leadership roles at Kruidvat (A.S. Watson) and Lidl. Rijnders holds a master's degree in business administration and a bachelor's degree in facility management. He does not hold memberships in legally mandated supervisory boards or comparable control bodies.
